Night Sledding on Velika Planina – An Unforgettable Winter Adventure
Experience a true winter wonderland with night sledding on Velika Planina!
Discover a sledding track that begins at the intermediate chairlift station and ends at the lower station. The track is illuminated and clearly marked. During sledding, safety is ensured by on-site rescuers and supervisors.
In the 2024/2025 season, night sledding is organized on Fridays and Saturdays. The ticket price includes a round-trip cable car ride and unlimited chairlift rides until 7:45 PM. The cable car operates until 9:00 PM, while the Zeleni Rob restaurant and Skodla snack bar are open for you to warm up and enjoy refreshments.
Equipment for Safe and Comfortable Sledding
- Mandatory equipment: Protective helmet, warm and waterproof clothing, and suitable footwear.
- Recommended equipment: A headlamp, especially in foggy or adverse weather conditions.
If you don’t have your own sled, you can reserve one with us in advance at booking@velikaplanina.si. Capacity is limited, so be sure to book your sled and session on time.
Cable Car and Chairlift Schedule
- Cable car:
- Upward departures: 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM
- Downward departures: 8:00 PM, 9:00 PM
- Chairlift for sledding: Operates from 5:15 PM to 7:45 PM
