A part of Velika planina is embellished with cottages, which are, in their appearance, very similar to herdsmen’s cottages, but their interior is much more luxurious and adjusted to demands of the tourists.
The cottages are equipped with water and electricity. At your disposal are an equipped kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, glasses, etc.), the bedrooms are equipped with pillows and blankets. The cottages have a fireplace that creates a nice atmosphere and heats the cottage.
Koča Košutnik
Košutnik hut on Velika planina is located just a few minutes from the Zeleni rob inn, which can be reached by a cable car and then a chairlift. The cottage with three bedrooms (8 beds), terrace, common area and fireplace, kitchen and bathroom is fully equipped, bed linen is included in the price. In the morning you are awakened by the ringing of cow bells, and in the evening you are pampered by sunsets. Pets are welcome. Contact us here to book.
Koča Tisa
The luxury Tisa hut is located in an exceptional location just below the Zeleni rob inn, near the intermediate station of the chairlift in Gradišče (2 minutes walk). It stands on a beautiful viewing clearing, at an altitude of 1615 m, slightly outside the compact settlement of mountain huts. The view extends to the Kamnik Savinja Alps. Like other huts, the Tisa hut is built in the traditional architecture of ancient shepherd’s cottages made of solid wood and covered with larch shingles. Nevertheless, it offers all the comforts of a holiday stay – bathroom with shower, wifi, LCD TV, Viking pool and Finnish sauna. Possibility of home-made breakfast and payment with tourist vouchers. Gašparjeva koča
A nice hut that boasts views of the entire valley – from Kamnik to Ljubljana, in clear weather all the way to Nanos. The cottage has everything you would want for a relaxed and carefree holiday in the mountains. Inside you will find an equipped kitchen and a living area with a fireplace, free Wi-Fi and a bathroom with a shower. Accepts 5+ people. Koča Neža
Koča Neža is located in a great location, in Kamniško naselje, just below the Zeleni rob inn. The chairlift is only 5 minutes away. Neža is our largest cottage, has 12 beds and offers guests all the comforts. On the lower floor there is an equipped kitchen, a large common area with a dining table and a fireplace, two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower and underfloor heating.
