Velika planina, d.o.o. is a company whose main activity is transportation with a cablecar and other cableway devices on the Velika planina. In 2023, we built a new six-seater, which provides safer, more sustainable, faster and better access for the user from the upper station of the cablecar to the top of Velika Planina. Our activities, which are also developing in the field of hospitality and tourism, we take care of the additional diversification of the tourist offer in the area of the mountain. Our services are also available in the Zeleni Rob inn near the intermediate station of the Šimnovec six-seater train and in the Skodla snack bar. During the winter months, Velika planina offers increased winter activities such as night sledding, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and children’s activities in the winter park. We organize trips and guided tours for groups and teambuilding for closed companies. At the lower station, there is a place for closed groups and a children’s mini adrenaline park. Next to the upper station, in the immediate vicinity of the Jurček ski lift, you will find the Skodla snack bar and a natural playground for the little ones.
