The tradition of the accordionists is coming to the traditional mountain last July on Saturday. On Saturday, July 27, the accordion sound will be replayed from 10:00 am in front of the restaurant Zeleni rob. In the organization of the RD Rigelj, the 23rd Accordion Competition will take place on Velika planina in front of the Zeleni rob restaurant. Both, competitors and visitors are invited to join us in the competition.

Preskar Museum is open every day during summer season! Between 10:00 and 15:00 a curator in typical shepherd clothes is waiting for you, you will see the interior of the museum, you will find out how pastors lived in the past, how they made cottage cheese, sour milk and lived a simple way of life on Velika planina. After the trip we invite you to the Zeleni rob restaurant, homemade stews, sweet and savory cottage cheese and other dishes prepared daily for you!
The Kamniška Bistrica valley is excellent for the escape from heat during the hot summer days. At the lower station there is a camping Alpe, where you can rent a wooden house in idyllic nature, visit us with a motorhome or a tent. In the immediate vicinity of the camp there is a beach along the river Kamniška Bistrica, which with its cold ambient invites you to its vicinity. The inn’s Pod Žičnico is located in the immediate vicinity of the lower station of the cable car and camp Alpe, where we offer hot and cold drinks.
