This trail will take you through historical points where you will learn how shepherds lived through the centuries. The trail is suitable for all age groups and is an excellent educational experience for families. The length of the trail is 7 kilometers, and it takes about 2.5 to 3 hours to walk it. Along the way, you will stroll through picturesque pastures among shepherds’ huts, learning about the rich cultural heritage and history.

A small experience park has grown on Velika Planina, in a small forest near the chairlift entrance station. In the park, you will learn about the animals that call Velika Planina home, shepherds’ life, scents, and tree species. Observe the treetops through a forest periscope and play the sounds of Velika Planina with a sand harp.
E-Bike rental at the lower cable car station
